Shocking ..... absolutely shocking

I certainly don't provide all of the energy, but at times it sure seems that way
Busy working on sports photo jobs, some Sr. pictures and the digital cinema and chemistry classes this fall, but as Thanksgiving week comes around, I've taken some time to look over some additional photos from this summer and fall.

Over and Done

It happened after several delays. But it happened ...
last Saturday at dawn. Kodak Buildings 65 and 69
were demolished by dynamite (imploded). Here's one image of the decisive moment. More later. The news or Goo-tube have the whole video.

Artists' Row

Well, For a long time I've been thinking to put some prints together for display/sale at art shows and I just had my debut at Rochester Public Market Artists' Row. This one was among the first to sell. This Saturday, I'll be at the North Winton Art Show, corner of Winton and Browncroft ... outdoors.

Marathon Day

Droplets of rain on leaves and flowers will dissipate,
evaporate as the day and the runners warm-up.
This is another big day, runners on your marks ... set ...

See you at the turnaround in Fairport and return along the canal.

This Foggy Morning

Row of Maple Trees at Dawn as the Sun tries to Burn the Fog off
This foggy morning was the start to a very exciting day.
Excitement poured out from new students in uniform.
Posed and propped, the teams' looked good -- smile this way.
Then pack the flash and cards away, stow the lens -- more to learn.

Look 'em in the Eye

Meerkat at Cheyenne Mtn. Zoo, Colorado Springs, (2007)

Well, I've been a blogger for Kodak for about a year on some photography topics and it's high-time I spin my own yarn. I'm thinking to post photos and only few words. The title Snowflakes in Summer may mean something as this blog unfolds. For now it's just a name that I don't have the right words to explain. School starts next week. So I've been working up my classes and prepping for labs. Day one: get introduced, talk about the class and labs but most of all ... look 'em in the eye. And we'll take it from there. Materials and technology for Digital cinema freshman and Chem 100 for medical technology and nursing students.
